An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our busy manufacturing company producing insulated glass units.
You will have proven experience within a similar manufacturing role working with all aspects of automated, robotic machinery and pneumatics, you will also have extensive CNC & PLC knowledge and will be 17th Edition qualified. You will be an enthusiastic and competent problem solver with a practical approach to engineering problems and able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Your principle responsibilities will be:
• planning and undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance
• responding to breakdowns
• diagnosing faults
• repairing equipment
• supervising engineering and technical staff
• obtaining specialist components, fixtures and fittings
• maintaining budgets
• maintaining statistical and financial records
• ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• creating maintenance procedures
• managing stocks of supplies and equipment
• source sub contract suppliers for service agreements where relevant
