Due to continued expansion Capital Cleaning Supplies have an opportunity for a Purchasing Clerk to fill a new role to provide essential support to the Head of Buying and other staff members.
The successful Purchasing Clerk will be working within the purchasing department, with an overall remit to assist with our purchase processes.
Your key responsibilities and duties within the role of Purchasing Clerk will consist of:
• Placing orders with suppliers
• Maintain checks on existing unfulfilled orders
• Updating computer records of goods received
• Assist with supplier and stock queries
• Ensure timely fulfilment of goods ordered
• Ensure general admin is kept up to date
What makes you the perfect Purchasing Clerk?
• Previous experience within a Buying department
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of distribution processes and their implications on the delivery of product in a timely manner
• Ability to analyse sales figures to maintain stock levels
• Demonstrate interpersonal/communication skills
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with Suppliers and senior staff
