Part of National Express plc, The Kings Ferry is a rapidly expanding, award winning Company operating 140 coaches from three depots in the south east and London. We deliver a daily commuter service from Kent to London as well as a range of private and contract hires to schools, universities, social groups, football teams and supporters, travel companies and blue chip clients.

Role
We have a number of positions at both our Gillingham depot and Clarkes of London in Sydenham, best suited to an experienced technicians used to working on HGV/PCV vehicles with a willingness to develop skills, adapt, and work as part of a team.

Duties include but not limited to:
• Undertaking vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs on a varied fleet (including MOT preparation)
• Prompt repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Operator Standards
• Have an ability to work to the highest health and safety standards

Requirements

Candidates should have:
• Proven experience and track record of working on PCV’s or HGV’s
• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of electrics
• Solid understanding of Department of Transport / DVSA maintenance standards
