Warehouse Manager

Our busy client leading provider of automotive fluids, oils and chemicals for passenger cars throughout the UK, Europe and Asia.
is looking to recruit the following position for our manufacturing site

Reporting in to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for all areas of the warehouse activities as well as training and management of the warehouse operatives and team leaders.

Your prime responsibility will be
*managing the warehouse operations, from storage, picking, loading, shipping through to customer order fulfilment.
* You will be responsible for the team's first class service both internally and externally.
* Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met is paramount, as well as the security of the assets in the warehouse.


Your responsibilities will also include;
• Manage a team of workers (warehouse operatives)
• Ensure Health and Safety, as well as Security of the warehouse
• To ensure productivity targets are met
• Maximise efficiencies through a LEAN culture
• To manage stock levels and returned items


Your experience must include;
• Degree level candidates only considered
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System, SAP, Bar coding systems, ERP and MRP
• Budget development and management skills
• Microsoft Office skills
• Forklift certification and experience
• Compliance experience with programmes such as ISO 9000/ 14000, SSHE
