Principal Pricing Analyst
£45,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefit package.

Barker Munro Recruitment is delighted to be working with this market leading insurance company who are currently looking to fill a number of roles as a Principal Pricing Analyst specialising in different insurance product areas.
As a Principal Pricing Analyst you will support your team by providing an innovative and effective analytical pricing service for the Company with a delivery of risk premium models.
The key responsibilities of the role are;
• Update and develop all Motor Risk Premium Models to enable the business to both price effectively and to manage risk through model outputs
• Deliver other analysis that includes but is not constrained to geographical area classification, occupation classification and vehicle classification and customer segmentation
• Provide analytical support to inform business decisions and strategy, searching out all available sources of information to check understanding and ensure robustness of output.
• Understand existing pricing models and ensure their appropriate use and application.
• Analyse claims performance and monitor controls, including producing & analysing tactical MI, and build recommendations to support the pricing and trading objectives.
• Deliver specific tasks and projects in a pro-active, timely and accurate manner, providing insights, impacts and recommendations.
To be successful in the role of Principal Pricing Analyst you will need experience of working in a pricing or analytical. You will need to be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a numerically focussed subject. Knowledge of at least one of SAS, Emblem, Radar or other modelling software is essential.
