My client is looking for an exceptional individual to join the Technical Process Development (TPD) Team as the TPD Manager. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the ideal candidate will be an individual who is a technical specialist with proven ability at managing and influencing teams to ensure optimal effectiveness, output and quality.



The Role:



* To manage all Dartford technical activities for optimal effectiveness, (including meeting agreed timelines, meeting and improving on KPIs, and meeting cost centre budgets)

* To manage the technical team?s contribution to Quality Systems activities for optimal effectiveness (including investigations of complaints, non-conformances, and delivering CAPAs)

* Provide leadership and vision to the technical activities on site

* Develop a strong platform for staff development and fulfilment in the technical department

* Health & Safety in the technical areas

* Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation



Skill Requirements:



* Educated to Ph.D. level in a relevant discipline and with experience in microplate or antibody-based assays. Minimum of a B.Sc. in a relevant discipline or other relevant experience.

* People influencer and natural leadership style.

* Good problem solving skills ? must be able to investigate complex problems and implement effective solutions and communicate them to stakeholders.

* Critical Thinking ? Demonstrate the ability to use logic and reason to evaluate different solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

* Be able to support internal investigations and the implementation of Corrective Preventive Actions (CAPA)

* Good laboratory practices and skills.

* Good presentation and interpersonal skills

* Proven project management skills
