If you think you?ve got what it takes to become my clients new Industrial Engineer who will be involved in completion of introduction and maintenance of site quality systems then we want to hear from you!
The Role:
* To follow the detailed design, procurement, construction fit-out, equipment installation and validation of a CBER (FDA) IVD manufacturing facility which will include clean room areas rated to various traceable Classification levels.
* Responsible for the mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the new facilities and utilities, installed equipment, and their correct operation for compliance in the commissioned manufacturing area.
* Validate and Verify test methods and equipment
* Drive and contribute to pFMEA analysis.
* Complete failure investigations for customer complaints, CAPA's and NCR's
* Work with external suppliers to validating process changes related to mechanical devices, and replacement of parts or tooling.
* Initiating/leading/supporting cost improvement projects and business continuity initiatives
* Perform engineering studies and analyses on existing manufacturing processes to improve process reliability, product quality and cost
* Maintain Quality Systems/Regulations/GMP/FDA and Safety standards
* Complete site approved engineering projects within the agreed budget and timelines.
Skill Requirements:
* Bachelor?s or Master?s degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or similar background.
* Project management skills
* Delivery of ambitious and strict timelines, and are able to keep project costs within budget.
* Collaboration in a fast moving environment with a hands-on attitude.
* Proven track record in the successful management of a facility redevelopment or a new product introduction for inspection by CBER (FDA) is essential.
* Ability to work within a multi-functional project team and possess excellent communication and reporting skills.
* Ability to identify gaps in process, skills, or knowledge and to have corrected them within their immediate team rapidly.
* Understanding of the equipment and utility functionality on site..
