Do you have bookkeeping experience and an understanding of SAGE Accounts and Payroll?
Are you ambitious and driven with a real desire to learn and develop your role?
If so, our highly regarded client is looking to employ an Accounts Assistant to join their hardworking and professional team.
Key skills and responsibilities:
• Posting and reconciling general ledger entries in SAGE 50 Accounts (invoices received, invoices raised, bank entries)
• Processing cheques received
• Processing supplier payments
• Issuing client invoices
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Processing expense claims
• Processing payroll for staff using SAGE payroll
• Assisting the Finance Director in the production of month end management accounts
• Assisting the Finance Director in completion of quarterly VAT returns
• To assist the Finance Director with ad hoc projects as required
• Assisting with management of client credit control
To be successful you will need to be proficient in IT (including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel) and excellent numerical skills is also essential. If you have a high attention to detail, a proactive approach to work and a keen desire to learn, then this could be the ideal next step in your career.
