Are you looking for summer work whilst home from University or looking for a summer job to help towards your first year.
S Simmonds & Son Ltd are suppliers of uniform and we have shops situated within schools in the Maidstone, Rochester and Sittingbourne Areas.
You will be working with our shop manager’s assisting with appointments for fitting the new year 7 pupils with uniform and serving existing parents and pupils with additional purchases.
The role involves using a computerised till, serving customers with uniform and other shop floor related duties. You must be able and prepared to deliver excellent customer service and enjoy working in a busy environment.
The shops are open from the week of the 23 July and ideally you would be available the end of the week before to be involved in the set up. The shops are open then through to the 5th September with most closing for the week of the 13th August. Shops are open between 9 and 3 and are 5 days each week between Monday and Saturday. Home form University earlier I do have vacancies for staff in my pop up shops during June and July.
We are offering a fixed term temporary contract with holiday pay to the right candidate and our summer staff often return to work with us for subsequent summers.
