Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant required for an immediate start working for a Health and Training Company based in Tonbridge, Kent. Responsible for all day to day accounting duties including:
• Data entry of invoices, receipts, remittances, cheques etc.
• Liaising’s with debtors and creditors
• Sending out invoices/credits/payment receipts
• Chasing debts and reconciliation
• Dealing with client / supplier’s queries by email and telephone
• Arrange payment of supplier invoices
• Reconciliation of the bank / paypal / company credit card
• Organising and keeping records up to date
• Assisting with Payroll
• Keeping mileage records up-to-date and accurate
• Ad-hoc duties to support the Senior Accounts Manager
The Successful Applicant:
• Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of the accounting system Xero. In addition, a very good understanding of Excel and formulas are desirable.
• It would also be an advantage if the candidate had working knowledge of the accounting systems Administrate and Sage, but not essential.
• Excellent telephone manner - clear and well spoken.
• This person must possess strong organisational and good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in their work.
• The ability to use their own initiative and work proactively (come with a solution).
• Time management.
• Must enjoy working as part of a team.
• Confidentiality is a must.
Hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
