We are recruiting into a number of Available Homes Officer vacancies and are looking for exceptional people to apply.

As a member of our Regional Available Homes teams you'll be working at either our Borehamwood, Bishop's Stortford, Haywards Heath, Dorking, Merton, Bromley or Holmes Chapel office bases. You'll be responsible for managing Clarion's homes from the point they become empty until they are successfully and quickly let, whilst providing an excellent service.

You'll need to be able to work collaboratively with and develop effective working relationships with Key Stakeholders, Contractors and Colleagues. You'll also need to liaise with our Neighbourhood, Repairs, Asset Management and Development Teams to ensure that properties are ready to let, and are done so quickly, thereby minimising the loss of rental income.

You'll need to be organised and experienced and have the ability to work in a busy, performance focused working environment. You'll personally own and lead on allocations within your region, and you'll manage the end of tenancy process, once a customer notice is received or a property has been repossessed, with a focus on retaining current tenants who have maintained their tenancy. We'll expect you to manage shortlisting, arrange viewings and prepare the tenancy agreement, before finally inputting the tenancy post sign up in a timely manner.

Your other responsibilities will include:

* Working closely with Local Authorities to ensure that we offer our available homes to those most in need
* Identifying hard-to-let properties and contributing solutions
* Providing advice to the Customer Support team on levels of demand for properties where a tenancy is subject to review and where properties are, or are likely to become available
* Providing housing options advice to customers reaching the end of their existing fixed term tenancy

You'll have an excellent understanding of Choice Based Lettings systems, Allocations, and the use of Local Lettings plans. You'll also have a working knowledge of Housing Legislation, Regulation and Best practice.

Solution-focused with a willingness to constructively challenge and contribute ideas for improvement, you'll have already have experience of delivering against challenging performance targets.
