Access to pool car when required for client visits. Clean driving license is essential.

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday-Friday

Summary

You have a key part to play in guarding and developing Orbitals reputation within your allocated client list. You are a front-line ambassador of the business and need to be highly motivated and driven by achieving total client satisfaction at all times while delivering targets and objectives detailed in your incentive plans.

The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that the list of clients that he/she is responsible for, feel they are getting the best from the services provided to them by Orbital, being able to deal proactively and reactively with all events in a professional manner.

Working closely with all departments you will maintain appropriate levels of contact with key influencers and decision makers within your customer list. You are expected to proactively recommend the development of client platforms, while recognising opportunities and threats and looking for opportunities to renew, increase and extend contracts. Communicating back into the business so all departments can play their part in maintaining the customer’s experience.

For the list of allocated accounts the Account manager is to understand:
• The clients business and issues they face
• The clients’ future plans
• Events that may affect the client in their markets
• Know the client team structure and key decision makers


This is an exciting and rewarding role for the right candidate. Previous experience in the telecoms industry is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Candidate Profile & Attributes

• Strong written and verbal skills
• Effective communication with ability to build rapport with clients
• Experience dealing with corporate clients
• High level of organisation and ability to prioritise own workload
• Willing to support and work with other teams to find the right solution for our customers
• Experience within a sales environment
• A proven track record in achieving targets and proof of earnings


Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a designated list of customer accounts and prospects
• Build trusted and long term relationships with influencers and decision makers within your nominated list of accounts
• Ensure contractual obligations are consistently met and not exceeded.
• Ensure opportunities and threats are recognised and dealt with appropriately for all customers under your remit.
• Create and manage Account Plans for all of your nominated accounts including attrition mitigation measures and if relevant white space analysis.
• Manage your pipeline effectively so that targets can be achieved on a monthly basis.
• Ensure regular reviews are carried out with clients to review overall service delivery, understand any issues and agree the way forward with input from the service delivery and other departments where appropriate. Ensure that scheduled reports and service management calls/meetings are carried out as scheduled.
• Report internally on a monthly basis on allocated list of clients, handle and escalate non service desk issues and queries effectively and respond to the client in an appropriate and timely fashion, highlighting identified internal improvement actions which may result from client engagements.
• Maintain accurate records (including at risk status and action plans, dates of closing/losing opportunities, etc.)
• Monitor key usage and engagement information of all clients including taking action on any attrition mitigation risks identified
• Develop referral opportunities
• Be contactable by your list of clients and prospects
