Summary
We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide appropriate solutions for every customer, seeking advice from pre-sales support for bespoke solutions when required. You will work closely with lead generation, service delivery and account management departments and support the customer throughout the sales process.
The successful applicant will be a high performing sales professional within the telecom sales industry. Your previous B2B sales experience will prove invaluable, as will your appreciation of how Orbital deliver value to our customers within our industry. You will have a proven track record in solution selling to businesses

Candidate Profile & Requirements
• A new business hunter
• At least 3-5 years B2B sales experience within the telecoms industry
• An understanding of connectivity services
• A proven track record in achieving targets and proof of earnings
• An ability to work independently or lead a small vibrant team
• Operates on own initiative, self-motivated
• Thorough understanding of direct and indirect channels to market
• Experience selling to Senior Directors
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
• Natural desire and ability with technology
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Engage with pre-sales support on bespoke solutions
• Contribute to marketing/campaign plans for future lead generation
• Keeping accurate records of all contact with potential customers
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyse the market’s potential, track sales
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
• Maintain a programme of pro-active lead generation activity
• Ensure regular telephone contact with prospect base
• Establish senior level relationships within prospect base
• Identify referral partners to help drive pipeline
• Follow up, qualify and close inbound and outbound leads
• Write and ensure timely delivery of new business sales proposals and quotations
• Monitor and report on sales activities/forecasts and provide relevant management reporting information through internal system
