The Rosemary Shrager Cookery School is well renowned for offering a wide variety of cookery classes as well as an excellent and innovative fine dining experience.

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to teach and/or assist with cookery classes. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate their flair and experience on our fine dining, 5 course chef’s table. Ensuring that Guests receive a 5-star experience at all times is our priority so a warm personality, friendly outgoing manner and an ability to cater for different cooking abilities is essential.

To apply, you must have experience in a Sous Chef role within a fine dining kitchen. A background at Michelin star or Rosette level would be advantageous but is not essential.

In addition, you must have good health and safety knowledge; good customer service skills and be well presented at all times as you will be working with customers on a daily basis. The ability to develop new menus alongside the Head and Executive chef is essential along with the confidence to teach your skills to members of the public. You must be able to demonstrate flexibility as every week is different depending on the courses being run. The course plan is established for the coming year.
