My Client, a company with an enviable position in their market sector, is now looking to recruit experienced Production / Machine Operators to work as part of a Production Team to achieve optimum performance and maximise Health and Safety, Quality, Efficiency & Productivity.



The Role: Production Operator / Machine Operator - 12 month contract

To complete all Product Changeovers / Set ups following appropriate processes

Perform autonomous maintenance activities as per daily/weekly schedule.

Participate in and make positive contributions to continuous improvement activities

Proactively resolve problems by identifying the root cause and working as a team resolve issues.

Understands and ensures that production targets are achieved

Prepares and conducts SMART shift handovers

Contribute to the weekly safety hour and monthly H&S meeting

Understand and achieve line quality targets.

Interpret Quality Measures and reacts to non - compliance

Ensure that Automatic Checking Device (ACD) is working and in use at all times

Provide quality and micro samples

Carry out all changeover tasks

Understand set up sheets and centre lines and records changes.

Ensure production targets understood and met.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Production Operator / Machine Operator - 12 month contract

Secondary School Education

Relevant experience in a FMCG Production

Knowledge of Production environment

Good knowledge of Quality standards

Good knowledge of Health Safety & Environmental standards

Results focused and determined

Committed to maintaining business compliance in respect of Quality and Safety measures/targets.

Utilises simple problem solving methodology - (PDCA, SPIN and SWOT)

Proficient in shop floor control systems (SAP).
