My Client, a company with an enviable position in their market sector, is now looking to recruit a Vendor Quality Specialist to focus on QA Compliance and to ensure that products manufactured at Vendors' meet Specification, Quality Protocols and Methodology and requirements. Also to assess the level of quality and good manufacturing practices across all Vendors for compliance with standards, regulatory requirements and business needs.



The Role: Quality Manager - Vendor Assessor

Provide QA support and Vendors' set-up for start-up of new sites and final exit when production stops

Audit, coach Vendors and build capability

Provide reliable and timely assessment of the level of good manufacturing practices (GMP) compliance of quality systems, processes, tools and resources of Vendors

Provide reliable and timely assessment of the level of compliance of products against external and internal requirements

Inform management of any critical audit finding or product out of specification in a timely and expert manner

Execute audits as per approved plan & Issue audit reports in a timely and expert manner

Ensure issuance of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) plans and implementation and completion thereof until close-out

Monitor Vendors' certification processes

Manage Vendors' audits and adhere to the audit plan by performing assigned audits according to latest regulatory requirements (FDA OTC, EU 1233/2009)

Report and investigate any product non conformance

Perform quality control inspection of products and take final decision of batch release

Investigate Quality Incident and Alert, root cause identification and subsequent action planning and follow up - timely population of Quality Tracking System

Ensure corrective actions is being taken on defective products.

Analyse product consumer complaints and ensure root cause analysis (RCA) is performed with third party manufacturers (TPM)



Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Quality Manager - Vendor Assessor

Bachelor's degree at a minimum

Background in Quality Management Systems

Quality Assurance Certification

Statistical Process Control Certification

Minimum of 10 years experience in international industry, specifically in good manufacturing practices (GMP) quality assurance

At least 5 years of relevant experience in an international company in the consumer goods industry

In depth understanding of European and US legal requirements

Language skills as well as fluent written and spoken English skills required; knowledge of other languages such as French, German, Italian, Spanish is an asset

Good IT knowledge of MS Office applications and Lotus Notes

Able to travel abroad as required

Intermediate knowledge in SAP
