My Client, a privately owned Company who specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of steel products that help to optimise storage, warehousing & distribution processes, are now looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Structural Engineer, with a strong knowledge of Steel Structures.
The Role: Structural Engineer - steel experience
To analyse configurations of structural components
Provide calculation packages
Liaise with draughts people and detailers
Complete site surveys
Generate structural calculations and load assessments
Work closely with the Sales Team
Utilise computers and CAD systems
Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Structural Engineer - steel experience
Degree qualified Civil or Structural Engineer
Industry experience in steelwork
3D conceptual skills
Knowledge of Eurocodes
Seismic experience
Highly computer literate
Experience of using Design Software tools
The ability to provide technical support
Clear spoken English
You will be self motivated and have excellent client facing skills.
The ability to travel is also necessary
