A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join our busy Collections & Recoveries team, based in Maidstone, Kent.

Our Data Analyst will play a key role in enabling the team to deliver market leading collection and recoveries services to clients whilst driving continuous innovation through the delivery of high quality analytical insight.

Key objectives of the role:
• Owning development and delivery of MI that provides insight to the client and internal stakeholders and drives out opportunities to improve financial collection and recovery;
• Supporting the business in the delivery of effective forecasting, management and communication of operational and financial performance ;
• Continuous focus on driving performance with regards to the client portfolio, optimising collections and recovery;
• Looking for opportunities to enhance and develop recoveries capabilities;
• Liaising with other teams in the business with regards to work related queries;
• Generating general daily, weekly or monthly reports as required;
• Providing holiday/absence cover for colleagues.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who wants to use their knowledge and skills to make a positive difference to the team. We are a hardworking, friendly group of people with a ‘can do’ attitude towards our work but need someone on board who can provide us with meaningful data to help us improve our performance.

Ideally you will have the following:
• Experience working within database environments and data set manipulation particularly in SQL and Excel
• Problem solving and analytic skills with a high degree of analytical rigour
• Ability to translate business objectives into an analytical agenda
• Exceptional numeracy and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with confidence and ability to influence others
• Ability to apply flexibility in the workplace to ensure team success. Recognised as a ‘team player’
• Ideally, a degree level qualification in a numerate discipline
