My Client, one of the largest suppliers of their product to the UK market, is driven by a passion for high quality and pioneering innovation. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Training Officer - FMCG, to drive a high performance environment through the identification, planning, delivery and review of training for all production role. To ensure the factory has the required skills and capabilities to safely meet objectives.
The Role: Training Officer - FMCG
Define and update the technical skill requirements for all factory roles.
Ensure the skill requirements for health and safety, food safety, quality, hygiene and behaviours are identified.
Identify the training required to enable high performance
Monitor progress against training.
Ensure the delivery of ongoing refresher training.
Conduct ongoing regular training needs analysis
Ensure that new employees successfully complete their induction
Work with HR and the management team to develop and maintain training records.
Develop and review training material
Create and train a team of trainers to support in the execution of training delivery
Plan and deliver appropriate methods of training for all employees, including one to one, class based and practical training.
Assist with all internal and external audits as required.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Training Officer - FMCG
Training experience
Food manufacturing experience
Substantial experience of machine operations
Strong commitment to H&S
Good training skills
Certificate in Food Hygiene
Certificate in Health and Safety Organisation/prioritisation skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate people
Strong team player
Able to adjust hours to meet with business objectives.
Non compromising on health, safety and food safety
Highly self-motivated
Respond positively to changing business priorities
Keep calm under pressure
