Enthusiastic, experienced, confident bookkeeper needed for fast-growing practice based in Folkestone.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional, and have an uncanny ability to juggle many different tasks and client needs at one time, making sure nothing falls through the cracks, everything is up to date daily, and clients feel valued and taken care of at all times.
You will be managing a portfolio of clients (between 18-25), and will use the practice's bespoke software along with Xero, Quickbooks, Sage One, and other cloud-based software. The practice is paperless, so the ideal candidate will be ready to move completely into digital accountancy, and will be more than comfortable in a 100% digital environment.
Daily, weekly and monthly tasks include: general bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, payroll, VAT returns, CIS, cashflow forecasting, self assessments, preparation of management reports / balance sheets / profit & loss, management of workplace pensions, client care and retention, liaising with accountants and HMRC.
Qualified to AAT Level 4, or equivalent experience. Previous bookkeeping experience working on multiple clients at once is essential.
Must have a full UK drivers licence and access to own vehicle.
