Canterbury Oast Trust takes pride in providing first-class care and support within residential and community settings as well as development opportunities through our Life Skills Services for adults with learning disabilities.
We are looking to appoint a LIFE SKILLS MANAGER within our Coterie Tea Rooms life skills service, based at Rye. The Coterie Tea Rooms provides catering and hospitality training opportunities for our service users/students.
As LIFE SKILLS MANAGER you will be responsible for managing the day to day operation of COTERIE TEA ROOMS and the staff team; deliver and grow tea room sales whilst ensuring service users/students are provided with a quality service which meets their identified training, well-being or complex requirements.
KEY SKILLS:
o Proven commercial track record in a catering environment
o Experience of stock control
o Experience of providing direction, leadership and motivating a team
o Understanding the needs and rights of adults with Learning Disabilities
o Good working knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety
o Have a keen eye for detail and excellent standards of customer and staff care
BENEFITS INCLUDE:
