CMS are recruiting for a Transport Operational Clerk for a busy freight company based on the outskirts of DOVER. The successful candidate will have at least 4-5 years’ experience within the Transport Industry.
This is a permanent, full time position which would include a split shift system –
7.15am – 16.45pm OR 8.15am – 17.45pm. You will also be required to work 1 weekend in 5, this entails 8.30am – 11.30am in the office and then being on call for that weekend.
Key Duties
Day to day operational tasks
Conversing with drivers
Organising and planning deliveries and collections
POD’s
Preparation of documentation
Handling telephone enquiries
Dealing with problems and queries
Skill Set
Excellent communicational skills
Must be highly organised
Numerate
Ability to maintain a workload efficiently
Be confident in dealing with any problems that should arise
