HEAD CHEF – daytime hours only - £30,000 –

This unique group of privately owned cafes is expanding their business and due to this they are looking for a Head Chef to oversee their production kitchen.

Currently they have 4 sites all within the Tunbridge Wells/Tonbridge area. But not content with this success they are looking to go further and have exciting plans for the future growth of the company and are seeking a talented individual who will assist them on their journey.

The emphasis here is on the use of fresh, locally sourced produce to prepare vibrant, innovative menus that will keep customers returning. These include freshly baked cakes, cookies, quiches, soups and salads. Everything is made from scratch and delivered daily to the cafes.

The ideal candidate will have had experience at a senior level and have great man-management skills. Currently there is a team of three chefs, but this is likely to grow so it will be essential they are also good at training and maintaining a happy, productive kitchen.

Other responsibilities will include stock control, ordering, cost management, ensuring all health, hygiene and safety procedures are in place and being adhered to and new product development.
