PHP Developer - Back-end or Full-stack

Our client, a support and bespoke software/web development company based in Dartford, is looking for a Backend or Full Stack PHP Developer to join their small team.
Current projects include a monitoring and usage engine/portal which is being developed for use by a household name throughout Europe.

· Full stack experience will be good, but a deep understanding of PHP & reliable code is essential
· Minimum 2 years commercial PHP development with PHP 5x. with good MVC understanding
· Exposure to multiple frameworks will be equally at home with non-framework code
· Experience of creating and using REST/SOAP APIs, and asynchronous JSON/XML
· A good understanding of web application security
· Experience of Git (or other revision control) and Capistrano (release control)
· Exposure to Semantic UI framework
· Experience of Linux / Apache configuration and Let's Encrypt SSL certificate handling
· Exposure to Agile working & daily scrums would be beneficial
· Code documentation is essential
· You will be part of a team, but self management is essential and you must enjoy customer interaction
· Major projects usually involve customer visits/meetings
Hours: 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hr lunch.
Holiday: Starts at 28 days including public holidays, increasing by 2 days every 2 years.

Salary range £25k - £35k depending on experience/abilities, etc.
