Graticules, a division of Pyser-SGI Limited, is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of optical components and electroformed foils, with over 60 years experience in the production of precision engineered micro-patterns.
We are looking for a capable, flexible and enthusiastic person to take on our role as a Trainee within our Inspection Department at our Tonbridge site. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and develop a career within our precision optics & electro-forming division.
You will be working within a small team to inspect our electron microscopy grids and optical components to ensure they meet the required standard. A large part of this inspection task will be performed using microscopes, with a requirement to work from engineering drawings and specifications. The work is light, clean and will involving both high and low volume inspection which requires good concentration and an eye for detail.
This is a Trainee position so experience is not necessary but a practical approach, willingness to learn new skills and the ability to listen and follow instructions are important attributes. Full training will be given.
Hours of work are 08.00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday 37½ hrs per week. With 21 days holiday per year and offering a Company bonus scheme.
