Cedar Children’s Academy requires a responsible person, competent in site maintenance, to join our Facilities Team. It is imperative that we successfully manage the school premises and associated facilities, ensuring that the premises are secure, safe and well-maintained at all times to reflect the standards of education and behaviour within the school.

Our school is located within a modern housing estate and has excellent links to the M2 and A2.

Your new role:

You will be working 25 hours per week
Typical hours will be 1.30 pm – 6.30pm, Monday - Friday

Duties include:

• Assist the senior caretaker to ensure the school is well presented
• Unlocking and locking the premises
• General building skills
• Interacting with sub-contractors
• Unblocking drains and cleaning

As well as any other duties that are required with this role.

What you will need to succeed:

• Previous work experience in a similar role
• Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning
• Experience of working within an Academy/School is desirable, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Full, clean driving licence
