We are looking for a motivated individual to join our experienced Grounds Team. Under the direction of the Garden Manager will carry out the maintenance and development of matters relating to the amenity grounds and gardens at all Hadlow College sites.
Candidates will need a relevant level 2 qualification or a sound knowledge and understanding of amenity grounds and sports maintenance. A full current driving license and the ability to use horticultural machinery is also an essential requirement.
In addition to the minimum requirements detailed above, all candidates will need a flexible approach, work well within a team and have the ability to use their own initiative. PA1 and PA6 certificates are also essential. Supervisory skills and excellent communication skills would also be an advantage.
As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free car parking, this post also attracts five weeks holiday each year (excluding bank holidays).
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
