A really exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and forward thinking Production Manager in the Dover area. Our recognised and well-established client is looking for someone to ensure the timely completion of orders in a safe and efficient manner in line with company policies, procedures and performance requirements.

The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets or exceeds customer requirements.

Working alongside the Operations Director you will

* Ensure that production performance is in conformance with the daily plan;
* Drive implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes throughout production;
* Manage human and material resources to meet production targets;
* Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement;
* Implement standard operating procedures;
* Implement and monitor adherence to health and safety procedures;
* Drive continuous improvement program throughout production;
* Monitor and review the performance of staff and organise necessary interventions for improvement;
* Manage production budgets and implement cost control initiatives;
* Perform employee reviews and identify training and development needs of team members and update skills matrix.
