We are looking for Support Workers to join a specialist charity based in Thanet, providing in-house support to people in the community!

This is a full-time, shift based role working 37.5 hours a week, with a competitive salary of over £15,000 on offer!

As a successful Support Worker you will:

* Work with the team to enhance and maintain the potential of the people using services.
* Encourage people who use the services to be involved in and take responsibility for the running of their own home.
* Support people in using community facilities, promoting a variety of social and leisure activities, and supporting people with their health needs.



Skills you will need:

* CACDP Level 1 or a willingness to learn British Sign Language skills
* NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent (or the commitment to work towards achieving it within 12 months)
* Flexibility to meet the needs of the people we support (e.g. do sleep-ins and work within a changing shift rota system)
* Willingness to take the people we support on holidays if required and to drive the company vehicle (if in receipt of a full/clean driving licence).
