We are looking for a Farm Shop & Wholesale Supervisor to work with our newly appointed Farm Shop and Wholesale Manager.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and the efficient organisation of the Farm Shop, maintaining and developing the shop as a resource for teaching, supervising the Farm Shop wholesale and ensuring effective sourcing of Kent and local produce.

The post holder will need to have a relevant retail qualification and/or at least three years’ relevant experience within fresh market produce. An ability to demonstrate supervisory skills as well as an understanding of health and safety legislation within a workplace including COSHH is also required. Excellent customer service skills are essential as well as good verbal and written communication skills.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week on a rota basis, with potential early mornings, across 7 days per week.

The successful candidate will need an understanding of health and safety requirements relating to cleaning services, as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative and high cleaning standards within a workplace environment.

The successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
