Role: Business Development Manager
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £43,831 - £54,789 per annum plus Car Allowance of £1,893 per annum

Moat is one of the top 30 housing associations in the UK with 20,000 homes spread across south east London, Kent, Essex and Sussex and we continue to develop new homes at an impressive rate too – last year we delivered almost 700 and we are aiming for another 3,000 by 2020. Our ambition is simple - to bring an end to housing need.
Who are we looking for?
As a key member of the team you’ll come with a minimum of one years’ experience identifying and securing opportunities for residential development.
You will have the ability to build and maintain successful and collaborative partnerships with a proven commercial acumen and ability to negotiate and influence. Excellent communication skills, a positive can-do attitude and highly proactive are all vital to deliver our ambitious, exciting and diverse development programme.
What would you be doing?
You will be identifying and delivering development opportunities including land-led schemes and Section 106 sites in accordance with Moat’s Corporate Strategy. Alongside this, you will be considering and reporting on commercial risk, funding requirements, tenure, specification and design.
Using your previous partnership experience, you will develop and maintain a good network of contacts relevant to securing and delivering new business opportunities, including stakeholders, developers, housebuilders, funders and strategic partners. Additionally, maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and team work to achieve successful outcomes.
