J&R Care Ltd are currently recruiting for the following roles to work in their Residential Children’s Home in Hextable, near Swanley, Kent.

RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE WORKER and SHIFT LEADERS

(between 16,000 – 26,000) depending experience and qualifications

Successful shortlisted candidates will have experience of working in a children’s home. The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care, Children and Young People or equivalent. The company will commit to putting the employee onto this course after 6 months ‘probation if they do not already have it.

Candidates MUST have experience with working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour.

All staff are expected to work on a rota basis which includes weekends and evenings and bank holidays, including Christmas. The vacancy is a full time position and all staff are expected to attend meetings and training sessions which means that the basic week on many occasions is 43.5 hours per week.
