An opportunity has arisen in the Site Logistics department at Prima Systems - an established specialist glazing and cladding contractor based in Nonington, near Dover.

The role involves working alongside our external installation teams and internal order processing team to ensure all materials are dispatched and delivered to site correctly and on time. You will be based primarily on live construction sites and will require the ability to navigate around a site safely so experience of the environment is preferred. The other aspect of the role will be to deliver and receipt in material returns at our Head Office.


The role will include the following tasks and duties:
- Taking deliveries from suppliers, both on site and in the yard
- Distribution of materials to locations, both on site and in the yard
- Delivery of materials from the yard to various sites across the South East including the subsequent loading out of materials to specific locations around the site
- Updating of web based order/dispatch software (alongside the procurement team)
- Working alongside installation teams undertaking general labouring and installation duties (training will be provided)
- Relocating site returns to stores and advising the procurement team of each items description and quantities.

Role requirements
- At least some basic construction knowledge
- A full, clean driving licence
- A current CSCS card
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings (to a basic level) to enable navigation around the site
- Forklift licence (training can be provided)
- Excellent communication skills in order to convey important information to the client’s site teams
- Some IT skills (basic use and understanding)
- Initiative and the ability to prioritise workload
- Able to work within a busy team environment
- Physical fitness is required due to the nature of the role
- The successful candidates will be required to have a satisfactory DBS check.

Salary, working hours and benefits
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (this may increase depending on project requirements)
- Salary meets minimum wage + team performance commission (after successfully passing 3 month review)
- Annual leave of 28 days inc. Bank Holidays
