We are currently recruiting friendly and reliable Driver to join our highly motivated team providing support and promoting independence to people who are experiencing; ill health, disability, or lost confidence, to lead independent lives.
You will be responsible for ensuring service users are safe and comfortable when travelling by maintaining equipment and the vehicles.
Must be willing and able to speak with most clients and staff, must be supportive, caring and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
A clean and current driving license is essential, and previous experience in driving minibuses and other adapted vehicles is desirable, however full training is provided for the clamping and movement and handling of wheelchairs.
Salary: £7.50 per hour and £15.00 on Bank Holidays
Hours: 20 Hours per week allocated over Monday to Friday. Hours will be arranged via the manager in order to meet the needs of the service.
Requirement: Full Clean Driving License
The position requires an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
