Required to start as soon as possible, we are seeking to appoint a part time (3 days [or 21 hours of a fixed pattern] per week) Payroll Administrator to be responsible for the day to day running of the School’s payroll and provide support to the HR function, working closely with the Bursar and HR Manager. The School has 250 staff and 13 staff in its trading subsidiary.

Essential for this role are experience of: payroll, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, ability to prioritise and work under pressure to tight deadlines; strong IT skills, especially of payroll packages; Excel, Word and mail merge; excellent inter-personal skills; an ability to liaise at all levels; attention to detail and accuracy; an excellent telephone manner and ability to deal confidentially with queries; an ability to work as part of a team and good office administration.
