TECHNICAL / CONTROLS ELECTRICIAN / OR COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

Generator Installations are looking for skilled and experienced hard working and talented technical controls electrician for installations & commissioning projects.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED)

Experience with 12/24vDC systems

Control Panel building

Experience in motors/pumps/relays/contactors/controls

Experience in 230v/400v

Testing & certification

Experience in generators and/or similar plant

IT literate and skilled in programming control systems

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLE)

Installation of metal containment (cable tray, ladder rack, trunking & conduit) and support systems (uni-channel & fixings)

Experience pulling & dressing multiple LV & instrument cabling

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years fully qualified experience

Working in London & nationally

Full UK driving license (clean licence preferred)

Good grasp of the English language (reading & writing)

Good numerate & reading skills

Good with heights & confined spaces

Working on building sites Ability to work on their own or as part of a team A ‘can do’ attitude and willing to help out on none electrical tasks Physically fit

Full Time Role

Out of hours & weekends

Be able to read & understand technical drawings/schematics, job sheets and method statements

Lives in or near Medway, Kent

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

Generator Installation will provide the correct candidate with a company van or they will share with another member of staff.

LOCATION

Generator Installations work shop is in Rochester, Kent, however the majority of the work is site work is in London and in the south east of England

We request each member of staff to collect plant & materials from the Rochester depot, therefore must live in Kent.

SALARY

We are looking for FULL TIME Role

There is PAYE options for £30,000-40,000 annual salary

£16 - £20 per hour for self employed candidates
