SMS Driveforce are part of Kent's largest independently owned employment business providing skilled staff to the transport and warehouse sector.
we are currently looking for a Category C driver to operate Skip and Ro-Ro vehicles as part of a Housekeeping Team at an industrial site in Sittingbourne. You will hold a UK licence, digi card and a valid CPC as well as a CSCS card and be responsible for the movement of waste on site.
This is a 4 on 4 off role operating within a team working 24/7. You will be working 12 hour shifts on days or nights dependant on your preference and the needs of the operation. You will be a team player and be health and safety conscious as you will be operating on a busy site that operates day and night with a large amount of freight movements. Being part of a team, it is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and management alike.
This is an on-going role for the right person and therefore requires potential candidates to have long term availability and also be committed.
