We have an apprenticeship opportunity for an organised individual to work within our support services department. Good telephone manner as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office and good numeracy & literacy skills will be an advantage. Work hours 8.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday.
All training will be given, however we hope you can bring to the table:
• The skill to creatively solve problems and propose solutions
• Ability to capture and document end-user requirements
• Creativity and strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal/customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced setting, willing to take on new projects and be flexible
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows
• Willing to learn; attend courses; be interested in Customer Service
What you will be doing:
• Provide the Management with a full, efficient and confidential administrative support including managing and screening telephone calls
• Ensure that the office and telephones are open to both internal and external callers during office opening hours and that the telephone is answered in a timely way and always in professional manner at all times
• Customer Help Desk Administration
• Liaise with service providers and suppliers as and when required
• Stock control and ordering of supplies, including chemicals, uniform, stationery, equipment and other
• Control cleaning machinery and servicing
• Assist in motor fleet management by processing paperwork and filing
• Ensure that office space is well maintained and tidy
• Book and organize travel arrangements and couriers
• All filing, photo copying, binding
• Produce reports and presentations
• Updating internal and external contact listings and other documents as required
• Other day-to-day office tasks
Interviews
First interview will be conducted over the telephone. Interviews typically run for 15 to 30 minutes. Second interview will be conducted in person at our Dartford office. Second interviews typically run for 45 to 60 minutes. Candidates are asked a range of situational, behavioural, and general questions. All candidates are asked the same set of interview questions.
Post-Interview
All short-listed candidates are notified of the outcome of their application for the position within two weeks of the interview date. The successful candidate will be asked to commence as soon as possible. A delayed start date may be agreed in special circumstances.
