Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a charity providing hospice services for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support for their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.

We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated individual to focus on developing existing relationships and proactively securing new community fundraising opportunities, across South East London. Do you have the skills to fulfil this role?

You will a proven track record of working with volunteers, individuals and groups to achieve income targets, and the ability to develop and build lasting relationships.

Your excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively as part of a team. You will have the ability to think innovatively about ways to engage with both new and existing supporters, and be able to work calmly and methodically under pressure, in order to meet deadlines and deliver results to a high standard.

This role involves working evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Generally this will be approximately one weekend per month, however during busier times such as Summer and Christmas periods, this is likely to rise to at least two weekends per month.

Ability to drive and access to a vehicle is essential as travel will be required. This is a temporary contract to cover maternity leave for a period of up to 12 months.
