My Client based in Headcorn are looking to recruit x 2 Quality Controllers to join their team with an immediate start!

You will be required to work on a shift pattern of;
6am - 3pm, Monday - Thursday & 6am - 2pm Friday
3pm - Midnight
2pm - 8pm

Your rota does not include weekends, however you can offer to work these and they are paid at a premium rate.

The main responsibilities of the role are;
* Carrying out routine audits, such as glass and record audits
* Collecting and sending samples to the laboratory
* Inspection of raw materials and packaging ensuring a high quality is maintained
* Testing product including chemical and physical testing before releasing
* Recording and reporting all faults and non-conformities

The ideal candidate will;
* Have previous experience or knowledge of working in a Technical Department within a factory environment
* A good knowledge of the food & drinks manufacturing process would be an advantage
* Have a good level of Numerical and analytical ability
* Have strong planning skills along with excellent verbal and written communication
* Be able to work on a shift pattern
* Understand the impact of poor quality products

Any candidates holding a Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 or above would be desirable, however in-house training will be provided.

Own transport would be preferable due to location and shift times.
