My Client, one of Kent`s top employers, is looking for a new FP&A Analyst to be part of their finance planning team. The workload and environment is fast-paced, but the atmosphere is fun.
You will be bringing your analytical, technical and communication skills to support and drive the performance of the business. You will be part of a small and thriving FP&A team and will work collaboratively with key internal trading partners to deliver a timely and robust forecast. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting trading performance on a weekly and monthly basis and communicate key factors and trends influencing performance which will help support the business to take corrective action. You will also provide vital support to the FP&A manager on a range of activities to help support the business on decision making to achieve strategic objectives.
You will be part qualified or newly qualified and have a minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in a commercial finance or FP&A role. You will have a passion for all things finance coupled with an appetite for continuous improvement and demonstrate a strong understanding of materiality. SQL knowledge would also be preferable though not essential.
We want to talk to you if you can answer yes to the three questions below:
1. Are you able to effectively communicate financial information to a non financial audience and adapt your style accordingly?
2. Do you possess strong Excel skills to run complex models and also have the ability to apply the appropriate techniques to evaluate different scenarios?
3. Are you able to strike a balance of developing strong working relationships with key business partners but not afraid to influence and challenge the status quo?
They are looking for the best to join the team. They are able to offer exciting challenges in the world of finance, whilst providing a fantastic environment in which to work. Along with pension, medical insurance, cycle-to-work schemes, etc. You will enjoy having birthday days off, a flexible working philosophy that says if you are contactable and connected it doesn`t matter where or when you work.
