We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager, for a very successful Marketing Agency based in London. Work for a busy, contemporary and fast growing company who enjoy huge success from the fantastic service they provide their clients. Previous agency experience is essential.

The role will see you owing, managing and developing client relationships. You will proactively add value to a predefined client base to ensure that the clients achieve their business aims and objectives. You will also be a revenue generator and planner within a Pod who also manages, plans and produces marketing campaigns for a set client base.

Must have direct experience of account management or project management of large scale Web Site builds and being accountable for delivery is required for this role. As well as a good understanding of Ecommerce principles and strategies: Email Marketing, Social Media strategy, Social Media management, Paid Social, Remarketing, Display, Content Marketing – Strategy, writing content plan.

Furthermore, you will also be required to:
• Look for new business opportunities to add value to your Pod
• Owning a predefined client base and being responsible for that client base’s individual and collective spend with the company
• Developing and understanding the clients business to help drive their marketing agenda
• Creates strategies and budgets for the clients across all marketing channels (Social, Search, Offline, Mobile etc)
• Informing and converting client briefs into profitable projects for the company.
• Ensuring all client briefs are understood and handed over to your Pod Project Manager accurately
• Engaging Producers or other key members of the Pods in order to deliver competitive, compelling and accurate project proposals in times of suitability to meet the brief, time and costs allocated
• Constantly looking for cross sell and upsell opportunities from the full range of services provided by Sagittarius as well as looking at introducing emerging channels and technologies through thought leadership
• To provide a weekly report for the Managing Director and Senior Management team which clearly highlights current projects, revenue/project pipeline, communications stats and client P&L
• To find and develop the assigned client base through the introduction of new clients and new revenues
• Agree studio ‘time based’ quotes for client jobs and prepare them for presentation to the client
• Lead or assist in client presentations of work and tenders for work as required


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Relevant marketing qualification
• Excellent communication skills – utilising current technology to present to clients
• Experience with account development and revenue generation
• Strong relationship building skills – maintain credibility and professionalism
• Ability to project manage, work to tight deadlines and targets
• Understanding of design and build process for large scale web build projects
• Must have strong knowledge of SEO techniques, tools and successful application in the design and build of mobile and responsive web sites
• Prioritisation with projects
• Strong leadership skills – ability to motivate, lead and create technical teams
• Be highly analytical – able to understand, feedback and analyse large data
