Job title: Agile Scrum Master
Contract: Permanent
Reference: CC762
Based in: Kings Hill, Kent
Department: IT
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: Up to £42,500 dependent upon experience
We are engaging motivators and endorsers of effective and efficient process. We live and breathe the company values, team standards and best practices, coaching the teams and helping them do the best work they possibly can. We are excellent communicators and actively encourage collaboration, inspiring passion and energy by example, managing conflict and assisting the teams in becoming self managing and cross-functional.
You are the Agile process owner, responsible for passionately promoting the values and practices of Agile and Scrum and ensuring our teams live by these. You will work closely with Product Owners from across the business ensuring highest value is delivered early and helping to monitor project scope and governance processes.
At CAF we take Agile software delivery very seriously, as a charity it is even more important for us to deliver quality services to our internal and external customers quickly, on time and to budget. We have created amazing and talented teams that we’re really proud of and now need someone who can help inspire and deliver change even when the going gets tough.
Ideally you will have proven experience in a Scrum Master role and a solid understanding of Agile and Scrum processes and values as well as being skilled in coaching teams and individuals. However, we would be equally happy to consider motivated and passionate applicants with a keen interest in pursuing a career in this field.
As an organisation we face some really big challenges but we like to rise to the challenge and believe in continually improving what we do and how we do it. We believe as a team everyone’s voice is important and together we are stronger than our individual parts, so we invest in our culture and our people.
We empower our people to ensure that their role, the roles they interact with and the department as a whole is as efficient and effective as possible.
This role is ideally suited to a person who would relish a challenge and who enjoys the reward of seeing people realise and grow their potential via continual improvement and reflective learning, delivering maximum value to our internal and external customers.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who wants to enhance their experience or further their career in Agile software delivery.
