In house Motor Engineer

Barker Munro Recruitment is pleased to be working with an expanding claims management company who are currently seeking a Motor Engineer to work in house.

The main responsibilities of the position would be to deal with Motor Engineering referrals from the busy Motor Claims function and provide a service to customers ensuring their claims are assessed quickly. Dealing with all aspects of both Insured and Third party motor inspections, using state of the art technology to receive and audit estimates prior to authorising repairs to their approved repairer network as well as customer nominated repairers. As an Engineer, you will also inspect and deal with all total loss claims.

In order to be considered for the position of In house Motor Engineer you will need to have a thorough technical knowledge of motor vehicle accident repairs and estimations gained working in a similar role for an insurance company or repair centre. You will be a team player who is organised, able to build and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally. You will need to be persuasive and have strong negotiation skills in order to get the best results for the business.
