An exciting opportunity for a Senior Laboratory Associate with a key client and global manufacturing client in the area.

We are seeking a Senior Laboratory Analyst to join the Quality Control team on a permanent basis.

The role will incorporate a range of exciting opportunities including:
Leading the Quality Control team when on shift
Analytical support of in-house production operations
Carry out accurate and efficient analysis of raw materials, bulk product and finished goods against approved specifications
Employ analytical techniques such as GC, IC, IR Karl Fisher, Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Rotational Viscometers, Fluoride Testing and Wet Chemistry.

The ideal candidate will have:-
A Level (or equivalent) in a science based subject or qualified by experience
Previous analytical experience within a QC lab in a regulated industry
Hands on experience of using the majority of the key analytical techniques utilised in the lab (GC, IR, IC, KF, RI, SG etc)
Computer literacy ideally with any experience of using SAP helpful
Knowledge and experience of working to ISO Standards 9001/134875/22716
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills

Your hours of work will be 6am – 6pm.
You will be working an equivalent of 40 hours per week, on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation which will include occasional weekend work depending when your 4 days fall.
