We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual who can lead our team to providing an exceptional service to our patients. You must be an all-round team player, with excellent communication and management skills and the passion for providing the highest level of catering and housekeeping service to our patients.
As Catering & Housekeeping Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the ward service and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth operational service is provided to patients and ward staff
* To carry out regular inspections of work areas to ensure standards of hygiene and work practices are maintained and if necessary retrain or take corrective action
* Take corrective action as a result of audits and inspections carried out by the COO, Facilities Manager, Guest Services and Infection Control Leads
* To ensure that all food and drinks orders are taken, prepared and served to the agreed standard, menus for each service are organised and that guests/patients are served according to their requirements
* Respond effectively and appropriately to complaints, promoting a culture where the service learns from complaints to improve care and minimise future complaints, in accordance with KIMS policies and procedures. Manage complaints and concerns on the spot as appropriate.
* Work as part of the team, serving food to patients and assisting with the housekeeping duties as and where required.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience working within housekeeping and catering, preferably within healthcare or hospitality sector
* Be experienced in the management of a team, dealing with personnel issues when needed as well as organising rota?s
* Be fully trained in COSHH
* Possess a food safety level 3 qualification
* Have excellent communication skills, be a good team player with enthusiasm and be passionate about providing a high level service.
