Job Summary:
To be part of a brigade of up to 6 chefs to create remarkable food, striving to be Britain’s best kitchen...
Duties:
Gathering all ingredients for each batch prior to cooking.
Prepping all ingredients when relevant prior to cooking. Bowl chopping, decanting etc.
What the impact is when batches do go wrong and the consequences that this can have on production and other departments
To make sure that we are working in a safe environment by following the proper health and safety procedures and having the necessary training
Making sure that all paperwork is filled in correctly and on time
To bring new ideas to improve production to make it flow more smoothly
To be an effective member of the team
To help rotate the next day fridge and replenish dry or IQF ingredients when needed.
Experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential
Experience in a Commis role would be beneficial
