Pilgrims Hospices has been providing end of life care and support for patients with a range of life limited illness and their families across east Kent for more than 33 years, across 3 Hospice sites.
The Community Fundraising Manager in Canterbury will help develop and grow voluntary income from the local community within the Canterbury area, through third party fundraising, groups, individuals, corporates and local organisations through the charity events programme, products and partnerships. The post holder will lead the fundraising activities to the highest standards, providing donors with the best possible experience, first class support and with opportunities to participate in a range other fundraising initiatives to enable our nurses and medical teams to be there for the next family that needs.
We are interested to hear from applicants who are educated to Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification. You should have at least two years proven experience in successful income generation; fundraising, marketing, business development or have skills that are transferable to the charity sector. The role also requires a full driving licence, access to own transport and willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.
