Change PMO Analyst

JOB ROLE
The role of Change Programme Management Office Analyst is to support the delivery management team with: tracking status of programme deliverables and milestones; resource management across the BT delivery team; supporting the development and adoption of AGILE and Waterfall delivery approach methodologies and toolkit; managing programme level risk and issue co-ordination; coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting cycles; co-ordination of project Governance arrangements, PM Community level workshops.
Additional responsibilities include assisting the C-PMO Manager with defining, updating and implementing project management processes, standards and governance; Contributing to Governance Reviews and co-ordinating activities in support of governance objectives.
At times the C-PMO Analyst may be asked to provide direct programme/project support, when this is the case this will include, amongst other things, ensuring project plans and project documentation are complete and up-to-date, provide regular project status updates, help acquire the necessary resources and skills, and contribute to the delivery of business systems to meet identified business requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Governance & Control
- Maintaining delivery standards across AGILE & Waterfall delivery methods
- Work with the C-PMO manager to develop / improve the delivery standards, seeking contributions from Project Managers, QA Team, Development Team and Service Implementation Lead to ensure that processes follow best practice
- Build up a repository of project templates both technical and management to support the Project Managers
- Implement project standards across all projects in the portfolio
- Manage programme level Lessons Learned repository; attend Post Project Review meetings to identify key areas of improvement to be captured into the Lessons Learnt repository
- Manage the programme level risks and issues register
- Carry out quality assurance checks in the form of the Quality Checks, Stage Reviews and Sprint reviews
- Liaise with staff across the Brakes enterprise so that standards are implemented consistently.
Planning, Reporting & Control
- Update and administer the portfolio plan as required using reports from Project Managers and the outcomes of project and board level meetings and workshops
- Manage communications from the C-PMO mailbox.
- Prepare consolidated material from project reports for weekly review
- Complete and distribute portfolio level reports
- Highlighting risks and blockers to the C-PMO Manager and tracking the resolution
Resource Management
- Supporting Team Leads with co-ordination of the resource plan
- Ensure resource utilisation is maximised across the team.
