We are a rapidly growing Fire & Security Systems company based in Kent. We maintain NSi Gold, BAFE and ISO9001 accredited status ensuring that our personnel and systems deliver amazing quality and service to our Clients.
Due to continued business volumes we are seeking an industry experienced Project & Small Works Manager to oversee the successful out-turn of multiple works to our Clients based out of our Kent office.
To be successful in this role you will need to have many years of experience in fire alarm and security systems companies,overseeing projects of varying size from small works to major upgrade installations. It is highly likely that your career has involved working in the field where you will have gained practical systems installation experience over many years at a commissioning or supervisory level.
Qualifications:
C&G Electrical Installation / Electronic Principals
Industry training from Manufacturers
Vocational training from Industry Bodies
FIA Modules 1, 2 + 3 fire detection and alarms design
Prior knowledge of compliance with our industry accreditation's' will be looked on favourably as we strive to deliver excellent value and performance on every job no matter its size. A thorough knowledge of relevant British Standards will be essential.
This role includes working with Directors and Managers - managing and scheduling our engineers, procurement of materials and equipment, talking to our Clients, ensuring our works are carried out to time and budget and working within our software platforms to ensure traceable work processes and timely billing of works.
You will also be:
Responsible for reporting on the P&L per job
To ensure financial and performance targets are achieved
Man management experienced with a strong H&S work ethic
Competent with MS Office, Email software and Word, Excel
Capable of adapting quickly to using job management software
Flexible to visit Client sites, carry out Ad-hoc inspection visits at works sites
Capable of surveying Client premises prior to design and quotation
A full driving licence is required.
